TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SEASON TICKETS, HALF SEASON TICKETS, MATCH TICKETS, PRINT AT HOME TICKETS, OTHER EVENTS AND PRIVATE EVENTS AT NORTHAMPTON TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB.

This ticket sales policy governs the use of tickets purchased for all events held at Sixfields Stadium from the Ticket Office or via our online site. Please carefully read the following prior to purchasing tickets or completing online transactions.

Ticket holders and/or purchasers of tickets will be responsible for compliance and observance within this policy and with any ground regulations governing persons entering, present at or leaving the the Sixfields Stadium of Upton Way, Northampton NN5 5QA. Misconduct of the ticket holder or nominee, failing to adhere to this policy or acting in a manner which the club considers is detrimental to its interests or is likely in the reasonable opinion of the club to bring football or the club into disrepute shall permit the club to confiscate or forfeit (in each case without compensation) the ticket, to prevent access to the Stadium for the fixture/event in question and/or to ban the ticket holder from attending future matches or events at the Stadium for such time as the club deems appropriate. The club will seek where relevant to prosecute to the full extent of the law where applicable as well as informing other bodies either Football Regulatory or Law enforcement of any breaches of this nature.

All tickets are issued subject to (i) these terms and conditions (as the same may be amended, varied or changed from time to time), (ii) the rules and regulations from time to time of FIFA, UEFA, the Football Association, the EFL as the case may be having regard to the competition in respect of which tickets are offered for sale, (iii) any ground regulations governing persons entering, present at or leaving the Stadium (as such regulations may be specified and amended, varied or changed by the club from time to time), and (iv) such additional rules and regulations as the club may adopt form time to time, all of which are hereby incorporated into the terms and conditions of the issuance of a ticket.

Northampton Town FC will only give refunds on purchased matchday tickets if they are returned to Ticket Office 24 hours prior to the match taking place. The club reserve the right to price tickets and change the price of tickets for any match however they deem appropriate including after a sale has been made without refund for any subsequent discounts that may be offered.

Concessions are offered for Senior Citizens, Juniors and Disabled supporters. At the club’s discretion you may be asked to provide proof of your concessionary status either at point of sale, upon collection of tickets and/or entrance to the ground. In the case of issue of tickets to minors Under-7 these are limited to one per paying adult and as such can only be purchased on this basis, especially with regards to online sales, should the online sales not provide you with your desired ratio of tickets then you are advised to contact the Ticket Office for further assistance. The club reserves the right to alter these price age bands without notice. Anybody found to be using concession tickets unjustly to gain entry will be liable to denied entry or ejection. No refund will be given.

In the event tickets are purchased for the use of minors it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure that either they accompany them whilst in the Stadium or give duty of care to a responsible person aged 18 or over who will act as a supervisor providing they adhere to recommended Government guidelines.

If the football match for which a ticket relates to is postponed or abandoned for any reason the terms of the club’s Customer Charter will apply. Under no circumstances will the club be liable to pay any other sums to any persons in connection with a postponed or abandoned football match. 

If for any reason the date and/or time of an event is altered after a ticket has been purchased it is the responsibility of the customer to ascertain the correct date and time of the fixture. The club will endeavour to make this information available as soon as any changes have been made. The club is under no obligation to give any form of recompense to anybody who misses a football match due to a date and/or time change.

Season ticket refunds are entirely at the discretion of the club and may be subject to a cancellation fee. Entry in to any game is not guaranteed and should the club be advised or instructed to play any game behind closed doors for any reason, any pro rata refund or credit is entirely at the club’s discretion.

In the event of a ticket being lost, damaged, misplaced or in the case of an online transaction which cannot be traced or has no confirmation details the club is under no obligation to provide a duplicate ticket. It would be expected that an additional ticket would be purchased to gain entry, however should the original ticket be subsequently found and returned, unused and fully intact to the club with seven days of the fixture a refund will be issued, this will also apply in the case of online purchase(s) which proof can be provided that tickets were processed but not available for collection.

The purchase of a ticket constitutes an acceptance by the purchaser of, and an undertaking to be bound by and observe this policy and Ground Regulations.

The resale of any tickets at more than face value is strictly prohibited. When purchasing the ticket, you will inform the new holder that they are subject to this policy. A ticket shall become void and will not allow entry to the stadium or have any right to a refund where Northampton Town FC believe it has been sold to another person at higher price, sold on the Internet (through unauthorised ticket brokers, auction sites or otherwise) or any other medium whether now or hereafter developed or it has been used as a prize in a lottery, competition or for any other promotional or advertising purpose unless expressly authorised by the Club in writing. The Club will seek where relevant to prosecute to the full extent of the law where applicable as well as informing other bodies either Football Regulatory or Law enforcement of any breaches of this section.

Entrance to the stadium is only permitted upon presentation of a valid ticket, which should be retained until the football match in question has been played to a conclusion. In addition, upon request, proof of identity may be required.

The ticket gives access only to the block, row and seat indicated on the ticket and not to any other seat within the stadium, however the club reserves the right to re-allocate the ticket holder to any other seats in the stadium at any time.

No person (other than the holder of a valid licence granted by Northampton Town FC or relevant Football authority) may bring into, or use within, the stadium any equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or the stadium, other than mobile phones or like devices for personal non commercial use.

The ticket remains the property of Northampton Town FC at all times.

Northampton Town FC excludes to the maximum extent permitted by the law any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons/property in or around the stadium (whether or not indirect or consequential).

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or restrict Northampton Town FC's liability for its own negligence.

Northampton Town FC reserves the right to refuse any person the right to buy a ticket, entry to the stadium and to eject from the stadium any person:

  • who fails to comply with the these Terms and Conditions;
  • who does not produce a valid ticket on request;
  • who holds a ticket in breach of any of the paragraphs above;
  • whose presence within the stadium may be a source of danger, nuisance, annoyance or otherwise that may give rise to concerns in relation to the safety and security arrangements for the Football match concerned. This includes but is not limited to excessive noise, smoking, use of foul and abusive language and the throwing of any object which might injure or cause damage to people or property;
Children up to the age of 14 should attend matches accompanied a parent or guardian.
 
Northampton Town FC shall not be deemed to be in breach of these conditions or otherwise liable to you as a result of any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations under these Conditions if and to the extent that such a delay or failure is caused by Force Majeure.
 
Force Majeure means any circumstances outside the reasonable control of Northampton Town Football Club including, without limitation, acts or threatened acts of terrorism, strikes, lockouts, industrial disputes or other restraints or stoppages of labour, acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order rule or direction, rules or instructions of any regulatory body (including (without limitation) The EFL, UEFA and/or The FA Premier League, inability to obtain supplies, inclement weather, accident, breakdown of equipment, plant or machinery, fire, flood or storm.
 

Northampton Town FC will not tolerate any forms of bigotry, homophobia, racism or inappropriate behaviour arising from any form of prejudice. Anyone found in breach of this condition could receive a warning, have their ticket confiscated without compensation, receive an indefinite life ban from the stadium and in some cases arrest;

  • who fails to comply with instructions from a club steward or police officer, including refusal to be searched;
  • who is in possession of any item that may be used as a weapon or missile which includes but is not limited to flares and smoke bombs, or any bottle, can or tin;
  • who appears to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
  • who is overly aggressive or abusive to any member of club staff or a police officer;
  • who is suspected of committing, being likely to commit or having committed in the past a criminal offence within or on the site of the stadium;
  • who enters an area prohibited to the ticket holder;
  • who damages, interferes with or tampers with club property in any way; or
  • who stands in a seated area, on a seat, in an aisle or gangway or climbs over any barriers or other structures without permission. 
  • If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted tickets should not be purchased or should be returned to the club immediately. The purchase and/or use of the ticket will be deemed to constitute acceptance by the users of this policy and the Terms and Conditions in full.
  • Polite Notice
    The club do not permit the consumption of your own food or drink on the premises. We reserve the right to confiscate any such goods.
